Well hi there. I'm Andrea. 

 

 

I'm an artist and writer living a creative life by the sea.

In a former life, I was a public art gallery educator by day and a rock and roll journalist by night.

These days, I split my time between posting here, writing for various publications, running an art studio, homeschooling my 7-year-old daughter,  maintaining KinderArt.com, designing art lessons for The KinderArt Club, and creating cool crafts for Little Passports.

Then there's the coffee (decaf, remarkably).

In a nutshell...

I'm a former rock n' roll writer. 
I'm a current artist and author. 
I'm an oddball. 
I think. 
I write. 
I make. 
I drink (coffee). 

My life is not conventional – nor has it ever been. I sleep far less than I should and I have way too much useless information in my head - if only I could access it.

Oh yeah, and I love my family. A lot.
